Running to Music

Here are my curated playlists on Spotify, in case other runners want to try these out. As a slow, hypothyroid-challenged runner, I do tend to like the lower BPM music lists for slightly lower leg turnover (cadence). I also love to run to themed playlists that fit the day or season.

(More to come as I get around to adding these. But you can also directly head to my Spotify profile, where all of them are publicly available in a very long list (LINK).

CBDB’s BPM Runs – Pop Rock Soul etc

These BPM lists are great if you want to slowly train yourself up to running at a faster cadence. Just sync your feet to the beet and slowly build up leg turnover speed.

CBDB’s Activities

Playlists that incorporate certain themes, such as walking or foraging. The lists of “Walking AM (Just One Thing)” is put together using the late Michael Mosley’s Book, Just One Thing.

CBDB’s Seasonals

Playlists that celebrate specific days of the year.

CBDB’s Films, TV or Theatre

Playlists that are inspired by or drawn from specific shows on TV, Netflix, Theatre, or cinema

CBDB’s Seasons

Playlists that celebrate the seasons of the year.

CBDB’s Music, Talk and Run Shows on Spotify (you need a subscription for these)

This is the original series of 20 episodes of CBDB Runs on Spotify. However, do not that the music does not play on the web-player, and on smartphones, you need to paid for Spotify subscription to hear more than 30 seconds of each song.
