CBDB Runs (a MixCloud Music, Run and Chat Podcast)

Hosts: Carola Boehm, Occasional Guest: Richard McCarthy

If you’re a MixCloud user and a runner who loves a good beat, take a look at our Music & Chat show (or dare I call it a music podcast ?), which is recorded while Ceebs (Carola) is out on her runs! Designed for slow runners, this show is great for taking out on a run or walk, with a great selection of music and songs.

am a slow runner (and loving the slow runs) and am exploring MixCloud for running, walking and working out to a great selection of music. Feel invited to take me along on your run or walk. Listen to my selection of music and I’ll keep you company with my chat.

There are different runs, rows, walks, all in form of music & talk shows uploaded, from

– TRAINING PLANS: A 6-week Plan based on a Runner’s World Plan to get you back up to running 30 minutes continuously: https://www.mixcloud.com/CeeBeeDeeBee/playlists/6-weeks-to-5k/

– BPM Runs: Various shows that use a very specific BPM to curate music. So if you know your cadence and love synchronising your step to a beat, these might be just the shows for you. More will be added regularly, but for now, you have a good choice between 130 and 160 BPM: https://www.mixcloud.com/CeeBeeDeeBee/playlists/specific-bpms/

– JEFFS and RUNS: We love Jeffing, as it allows us to chat whilst walking for a couple of minutes between running through the songs. So join us on our jeffing runs. The list also includes continuous runs, but obviously, it is completely up to you whether you jeff or run. https://www.mixcloud.com/CeeBeeDeeBee/playlists/runs/

– WALKS: I also have a few walks uploaded, with more to come. They also often feature my Himalayan Balsam-bashing husband, who often accompanies me on these walks and we chat about all sorts of things: https://www.mixcloud.com/CeeBeeDeeBee/playlists/walks/

Take these shows (and me) along with you on your runs and walks, and it will mean we will never run alone. And if you have specific wishes for music we should run to next, let me know in the replies!

Happy walking and chat to you on our next run!
